We are excited to expand our team and are looking for a dedicated Ground Care Sales Manager to join us at our Worcester depot. You will play a crucial role in promoting and selling Yanmar compact and utility tractors, along with our other key machinery brands, throughout the Midlands.
Job Description
As the Ground Care Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with groundcare and professional turf care customers in your territory. Your main objective will be to understand their needs, promote our products, and manage the sales process from inquiry through to delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with a passion for the groundcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, representing our portfolio of brands positively and professionally.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on all key brands we offer to provide accurate and effective product information to customers.
Demonstrations: Conduct demonstrations of new and used machinery, ensuring customers fully understand the products and their benefits.
Quoting: Provide accurate and effective quotes tailored to customer needs within a timely manner.
Delivery Management: Ensure products are delivered in line with company and manufacturer guidelines.
Data Management: Update and manage all databases and customer information accurately, adhering to GDPR and other legal requirements.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales manager, other sales representatives, parts department, and service department to deliver a seamless, market-leading customer experience.
Requirements
Drive to Succeed: Highly motivated and results-oriented.
Industry Experience: Preferably with experience in the groundcare industry.
Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales, ideally within a similar sector.
Customer Relationship Skills: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Integrity: Honest and trustworthy with strong ethical standards.
Driver’s License: Full UK Driver’s License is essential.
