Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Advisor Apprentice in our field based service company. This apprenticeship opportunity will allow you to develop your skills in customer service while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
2. Schedule service appointments and dispatch field service technicians to customer locations, considering factors such as technician availability, customer urgency, and geographical proximity.
3. Maintain regular communication with customers to provide updates on service appointments, technician arrival times, and any necessary rescheduling or changes.
4. Listen attentively to customer concerns, document detailed information about service requests, and accurately enter data into the company's service management software.
5. Collaborate with field service technicians to ensure they have all the necessary information, tools, and resources to complete service tasks effectively and efficiently.
6. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations, working closely with the appropriate teams to find timely and satisfactory resolutions.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including service history, equipment information, and billing details.
8. Follow established processes and procedures for documenting and processing service orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
9. Assist in generating service reports and performance metrics, analysing data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction.
10. Continuously develop product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends and advancements to provide customers with accurate information and proactive recommendations.
11. Coordinate and dispatch parts and equipment to field service technicians based on customer requirements and service orders.
Requirements:
1. English & Maths GCSE C/4 or above.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanour.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, handle challenging situations, and provide
empathetic support to customers.
4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple service requests simultaneously.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
6. Proficiency in IT skills, including familiarity with a range of software applications and operating systems.
7. Basic technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical customers.
8. Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions.
9. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and industry-specific knowledge.
10. A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
