Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated maintenance technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of arboricultural and groundcare equipment, including wood chippers, stump grinders, compact loaders and compact tractors. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' equipment. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify any issues or potential problems. • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine servicing, hydraulic system servicing and breakdowns. • Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, utilising the best diagnostic equipment. Recommending appropriate solutions and parts replacements. • Maintain accurate digital records of equipment maintenance and repairs. • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expert advice on equipment maintenance. • Keep up-to-date with industry standards and advancements equipment maintenance practices. • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with equipment and tools. Qualifications: • Previous experience working with  ground care equipment or arboricultural equipment , preferable, but not essential. • Strong knowledge of chippers, stump grinders, compact loaders is preferable but not essential. • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in equipment. • Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their maintenance. • Familiarity with 12/24v electrical systems and their maintenance. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks. • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations as required.
